Find Ancestors

Hi I wonder of anyone can help me I have come up against a brick wall of sorts, or just that I can't see the woods for the trees.

I have found information on Ann Allanson and her family from 1851 onwards with no real problems. I cannot however find a marriage for her, she was married to an Allanson as it states that she is a widow in the 1851 census and in the 1861 census.

Where born: Thornton, Yorkshire, England
It has a “W” in the marital status Colum so I presume it means she is Widowed
Occupation: Saddler

William Hessey Allanson Age: 20 Estimated Birth Year: abt 1831 Relation: Son
Where born: Thornton, Yorkshire, England
Single
Occupation: Saddler Journeyman

John Booth Allanson Age: 16 Estimated Birth Year: abt 1835 Relation: Son
Where born: Thornton, Yorkshire, England
Occupation: Apprentice Saddler

Francis B Allanson Age: 13 Estimated Birth Year: abt 1838 Relation: Son
Where born: Snainton, Yorkshire, England
Scholar

Hessey Allanson Age: 10 Estimated Birth Year: abt 1841 Relation: Son
Where born: Snainton, Yorkshire, England
Scholar

Thomas B Allanson Age: 2 Estimated Birth Year: abt 1849 Relation: Son
Where born: Snainton, Yorkshire, England
Scholar

John Taylor Age: 31 Estimated Birth Year: abt 1820 Relation: Boarder
Where born: Malton, Yorkshire, England
Single
Occupation: Saddler Journeyman

I am also trying to find her in the 1841 census, I have come up with an option but wondered if someone would like to see if I am on the right lines.

There should be other children living with her so searched and found this :-

John Allanson Age 6

I was wondering if the children living here were Ann’s other children, and perhaps are John and Faith her parents, if John and Faith are her parent I cannot find a birth for her.

I also noticed that she does not have any daughters in the 1851 census and a number of years between some of the boys.

Any clarification on this matter would be very much appreciated.

If you need any other information please let me know, I am sorry I have to pop out for a while but will get back to anyone that responds asap.
