Peter on the fibis home page, click on FIBIS search (it says FREE in red underneath). On the next page there is a quick search box at the top left hand column. Just put OBRIEN in there. |

Thank you; this does help me explain a few things. The 1881 census could be him as his age varies from c. 1852-1859, so who knows? |

The 1881 UK census has a John OBRIEN (b. 1858 India) at Brompton Barracks military school aged 23 in Gillingham, Kent. He was a Lance Corporal. |
