Thanks very much - i will keep trying. I have the details you have kindly found and think he married Mary Dinnen (as opposed to Gilham who appears to be connected to the Kent branch) I am guessing he was about 25 when married putting his d.o.b around 1780, but no record online anywhere and sadly as I don't know where he was born - assume London but ?? which of the many Parishes - so cannot search church records either! |

Thomas Kingsmill was my Gx4 Grandfather and was born Swingfield, Kent in October 1769. He married Mary but the only marriage I can find recorded (none so far anywhere in Kent) was the one you have in Marylebone in 1803 to a Mary Gilham. I know that Gilhams lived in the neighbourhood that Thomas worked near Chilham in Kent so feel there is a strong chance that this is their marriage. In fact a Thomas Gilham was a landowner in Chilham (tithe records 1851) where Thomas Kingsmill was a tenant farmer in 1851. |
