Found you!!

C posted on Susan's thread that you'd been whooshed.

Gin .... contact GR and see if they will tell you what happened ......... that's what Susan did, and Version 3 of her thread was re-instated.

C ................... I was around last night. I did not fall off a bus either yesterday or previously ..................... I fell AFTER I got off the bus. Do get things right!!!

Anyway, I did no damage to myself yesterday, but I didn't get on here until very late. I did post on here very briefly .......... and I did not hit the RR button!

I didn't post many other places 'cos I was actually too tired!!

Oh yes. Was going to put this on the other one. Daughter sent me joke last night and I thought of Gins.

It seems as though, to boost the morale of the England football team, a 'friendly' match with Iceland has been arranged.

If all goes well, 2 further fixtures will be booked, one against Asda and the other against Tesco!!

Thought that was funny.

Oh Cyn,taking the wotsit out of a poor Gin when shes down about that shower of an England Team isnt really fair is it now.

Hahahahahah..Nice one..

As I told Cyn earlier by pm.

Our mobile phone masts were switched off today for security reasons cos Old Charlie Windsor was in the area.

They were frightened that he may get shot or such I am told.

Know what Cyn says.

Never heard of anyone being shot with a mobile phone !!
Then lots of cackling laughter followed.

White jackets have been called for..

He may be the Prince of Wales and all that but he dont zactly do anything for the country does he.
Just causes a load of disruption and costs the council money when he comes round by ere he does..

That money would have been better spent on a grant for us to have new double glazed windows or central heating or a new bathroom or new tarmac on our road or taking out the street light at the end of the road that totally tees me off cos its so bright and the country should be naturally dark at night..

You're soo 1980 Cyns...already had that joke and many more I wouldnt dare post

Sylv....FR darling? You surley mean GR!!

I have sent them a strong email and demanded to know why the thread was whooshed...

...however, my insider spy has already given me the tip off ;)

I think the word is 'careful' who you trust on here...ha ha ha

SylviaInCanada Report 1 Jul 2010 19:42

ooops

I did mean GR

I've just been on another of my sites, and the conversation was all about someone that used to be on old FR ....... and caused us much amusement in the past. I got curious, so went to new FR, searched her name, and found out quite a bit that I didn't really want to know! Mainly that she hasn't changed one little bit

so FR was in my mind, unfortunately!!

I have corrected the error!

It's Canada's 143rd birthday today, and thus a National Holiday, Canada Day

Queenie and Philip are in Ottawa, attending the National Party to help us celebrate.

I think they are having better weather there than we are here!! I've got the heating turned on in this room again!!

They arrived in Canada on Monday. So far she has attended an International Fleet Review in Halifax (Canada's navy is 100 years old this year so all manner of foreign navies are visiting), planted 2 trees (one in Halifax and 1 in Ottawa), and unveiled a statue in Ottawa of the late great jazz pianist Oscar Peterson.

Then it will be on to Winnipeg, Waterloo Ontario and finally Toronto.

There is no way that woman is 84!!! Or that he is 89.

FRANK06 Report 1 Jul 2010 20:27

So Sylvia, you hurt your knee practising a curtsey for the Queen did you ?

Just noticed that they were discussing nighties before Ginny's thread was wooshed.
Do you recall Sylvia, we were checking out the merits of your Wynsyette nighties etc before Susans last but one thread was wooshed, or was it Cynthia's nightwear....... pyjamas, if I recall.

Poured down this morning and of course they are now worrying about hosepipe bans in the west of Scotland as well!!

Gee

Gee Report 1 Jul 2010 20:36

See.....shes being horrid to me again is that Ginny, spoiling me story lines that I like guessing at and insinuating me dad is a smelly old G&T.

Well Hellooooo Frank, nice to see ya ta see ya nice, not often we see you over this side of the border.

You must be mad to venture on here, its nowhere near as sedentary as over at Susans joint you know.
AND you have the likes of That Madam G to suffer.

Cynthia

Cynthia Report 1 Jul 2010 20:41

There you are ..... been looking all over for you lol.

I heard, i say i heard this wooshing noise this afternoon, and i thought nahhhh..... then lo and behold you had all gone!

So i did hear some eeeejit flying overhead with a thread about 3500 messages long....

Maybe we hit the length alarm ( i mean Peter & Co obviously didn't set it off!) pmsl

Well heard the funniest joke today.....

Paddy was walking down the street struggling with a wardrobe on his back, his mate shout's over...."Oi Paddy !! Why don't you give Mick a shout and get him to help ya?!"
Paddy shouts back..... " I Have..... he's in the wardrobe, holding the clothes!! "

OMG i cried when i heard that!

Thankyou thankyou.....
