And, if you're looking for living contacts......look in search trees to find whether anyone on GR has any of the names in a tree

I have followed all your leads and they seem to be the family, however, do you have access to Scottish records and Lillian (b1894) married Alan Hayes (no date as yet) but died in a car crash in Inverness if so I wonder of you would kind enough to look it up and see if there is any record of the death.

Thanks for the info, there is to be exhibition of Thomas Hammond artistic work and to back it up it would be good if I could find some of his present day family, no they are not related to me. You have given me another lead re Eleanor's death, also thank you for the vowles and cann leads, why I haven't found them is perhaps I haven't been looking in the right place, I have looked at BMD but could not find what I was looking for and it is obvious that I have not the family research talent or experience that you have so I am always grateful for your leads.

You refer to this as a research project, so one assumes there is no family link to you...what, then, is the purpose of the 'project'?

I am still looking for grandchildren/greatgrandchildren of Thomas Hammond
whose children were Cecil b 1888 d 1980 Guy b 1891 (no further info, re death or marriage) and Lillian b 1894 (no further info re death or marriage)

1911 census only show Eleanor and Lillian

Can anyone help further please I have search most of the relevant sites but have I missed something or am I doing something wrong.

Thank you for your info, yes I knew I had Cecil's death sorry about that. Yes I do look for the info I need but usually only get to a dead end - I have looked on BMD for both Lilian and Guy but found neither except their birth date. Perhaps Flick is right Guy may have died young or emigrated but I have no idea where to look for that info and it is harder to find Lilian as some info states she is Daphne Lilian and not Lilian Daphne although I think they are same but I do not know her married name or even if she married that is where I get stuck - mainly where to go next, but thanks for your help though, I will keep searching

Guy isn't on 1911 census........perhaps he emigrated?

Or died young?

I have really got stuck on this piece of research and wonder of there is anyone out there could help. I need to know the marriage and death dates
of Cecil Featherstone Hammond b. 1888 - Guy Hammond b 1891 - Lilian Daphne/Daphne Lillian b 1894 all children of Thomas and Eleanor Hammond. Additionally if there are any children of the three noted. All info is very welcome
