HI I just found these messages . This is my mother's side of the family tree . At the moment you are helping with my Fathers side on my other thread ..
The reason I was looking for the Morgans family Is my Great-Grandfathers birth certificate says he was born at Aber House in 1879 . His mother was a domestic servant Margaret Thomas (unmarried ) I 'was trying to find out if there was a connection with the family at Aber House or if they were related to Jane Morgan who married Edward Thomas of Sutton Farm LLandow. But there doesn't seem to be a connection .

Thank you.<3 Looks like you've found the right census records .the poster on the Powys record does say that Alice lost three children . The first child was not registered ,so maybe the same thing happened with John . Can't get the marriage record as I have pay-as -you -go on Ancestry and it won't let me see it . I put the names and dates in the marriage search. but it says no records found .
I have a friend who is a full member of Ancestry . I'll ask him to check . As the family was in Staffordshire in 1881 Can you find out who was in Aber House Please. It's like the film Brigodoon . A ghost house that only appears every hundred years. :)

Just to add further confusion I think that this is Thomas Morgan and Alice Stubbs in 1881 but they are living in Staffordshire and their first son is John. Alice gives her birth place as Witton Radnorshire and that is where she is living in 1871. I can't find the family in 1891.
It seems that the information on the Powys site is user submitted and therefore prone to mistakes.

Sorry. Sylvia . they went to Australia in 1884. .That's what I thought I put. The full tree is here . http://www.powysfhs.org.uk/wordpress/wp-content/uploads/2013/10/Trees_L_to_M_Part_3.pdf The Aber House records are on page 6
I'm trying to trace them as My Great -grandfather's birth certificate says his mother was a domestic servant at Aber house when he was born .In 1879
and I was hoping that any servants would be on the census .
She was Margaret Thomas .
