Im looking for my great granddads father who I think is John Williams 1873? Because of the surname im finding it very difficult to trace. My G.G dads name was Thomas Williams 1902-1969 born in Llandilofawr Wales. He had a few sisters that I know of, they are Dorris, Gladys, Gwen, Lettie, Hannah, Mary. |

These are the Thomas Williams that show as born Llandilofawr RD (1902 +/- 1 year) - which must cover his birth if born in Llandilofawr itself. |

Possibly the census you've posted are a good find Malyon, the names certainly fit what Carl has put in his OP. |

Wow guys, thank you for all the responses. I haven't found any records of the family as it looks like Thomas moved away possibly. Which would make sense that grey ghost has found all of the above. You guys are truly amazing, I'll be back later to answer some more questions. Thank you |

Hi all, from what I have found from living relatives and records is that my G.G dad Thomas Williams was born in 1902 and died in 1969. He married Elsie Walker in 1924 but moved to Pen-y-groes and it looks as if his last days were spent there. I think he was 1 of 9? But I only have the 7 names I put on my first post but this is unclear. It is thought that my G.G.G dad was a John Williams born around 1873 but this isn't clear. Sadly I haven't got a name for my G.G.G mother but my family still pass on there names even today. |

The 1911 has them married 19 years so c1892. The one greyghost posted looks closest to this. |

That would make sense why they called all the children Lewis Williams. I have a very old pic of a young child with Shadrach on the back, I didn't have a clue who this was nor where it came from. I could only think it came from my late mums photos. |
