I should add that Harriet Johnson is only a theory, but personally I think Malyon may well have been on to something, especially as she is in the right area, and looking at the 1871 census and the birth record for that child, was probably the mother of at least one illegitimate child. |

Am wondering - if that is the birth with no mmn - perhaps her Mother married after her birth and Florence is on census under that surname. She would have married then under her birth name perhaps? |
