ArgyllGran

I know all about "Drifting away a bit from the original question..." but that's what I enjoy about this hobby/life/addiction! It is so easy to get completely sidetracked - indeed, I haven't a clue now why I go onto the Marshalls originally. But I have confirmed that the Dr Charles Hingston who I mentioned in my post of 18 Feb 2019 15:38 is the same as the one already in my tree and I had come across him by following wy wife's aunt's Fox line (the Hingstons and Foxs were all Quakers).

You and the others have found a wonderful trove of information there. I'm afraid that I didn't get around to looking through the first batches of info yesterday evening as we were invited out to take part in the monthly village quiz. (Our team won last time but we only came 3rd yesterday.) And this morning my neighbour came around to ask advice about how to get started on her family tree!

Anyway, this evening... I'll try to get all those lovely facts into my tree.

Thanks sooo much,

Simon :-)
