Please could some one lend a hand with this one :.
I have a death certificate for Thomas Abbot age 13 yrs.He is the son of Robert Abbot ( the Quarry man).
The thing is, the informant on the certificate is a (Charles Abbot)...But I have not yet at this stage come across any Charles in the tree..Only the one born 1859/60 (who is my 3x great uncle...Now it can't be him as he would be only eight yrs old
I mooched abt a bit and found this one:Birth Charles Abbott,Dec Q 1839, Cockermouth..WITH TWO Ts Hmmmm
Could someone check him out for me please

I can't find Richard in the 1841 census to see if he happened to have a brother called Charles, which was my first thought.

Baffled though as to who he is

Robert Abbot (1853) died 1868 age 15 yrs old
There was only Samuel, Charles and Mary still alive to have children of their own in the end

Jane ann abbot died age 10 in 1872
Thomas abbot died age 13
Robert abbot died age 15
Richard abbot died age 16
and Margaret died age 3
