	I'm getting confused! Rambling, you say that Frederick is Kim's mother's father but Kim said that her mother was sister to Frederick.

	Margaret, I was working from Kim's own name and birth and back through marriages her mother born in the 40s ( is on Kim's tree but I won't put DOB here as probably still living) . I may have it wrong, but the marriage of Bailey/Wilkin mentioned on thread seems right.

	Lucky enough to be in malta, and went to registry office today.obtained Frederick birth cert naming mother as Sarah Bailey (nee miller) born Gozo. Frederick father named as Herbert Bailey born portsmouth Hants. Sarah Miller not registered probably only registered in parish church in Gozo. So Gozo birth may be right for Sarah Miller 7th Nov 1883.

	Federico Bailey born 1st Oct 1908 place: Senglea Malta. Father is Herbert Bailey born Portsmouth, Hants, England. Mother on Federico Bailey certificate says Sarah Bailey, (nee miller) Born Senglea Malta... Any further help appreciated people.

	Herbert was in the navy... Son Federico was in the merchant navy. Federico had a son called frederick, mums older brother. Federico had a first wife and 2 son's in Malta before he came to Portsmouth England and married Gladys Wilkin my grandmother.

	Yes, that looks like Frederick death Dec 1969...in portsmouth. Born 1908. Trying to find his mother's death Sarah Bailey hampshire. Think her middle name was maria.
