As all Mary's children seem to have middle names, I'll assume any deceased ones did too.

So these are the possible Duncan deaths, 1891-1911.

So that narrows the possible Duncan deaths down to:

Margaret Johnston Duncan
Nellie Mowat Duncan (though gut feeling says not)
George Hetherington Duncan
Archibald Buchan. . . Duncan

I risked a look at Alexander Milne Stewart - and he's not one of Mary's.

His mother was an unmarried Margaret Stewart.

Ah sorry Ag. I noticed a lot of different surnames being used for the children. Margaret had Mackenzie I think as did Ann?

It has been awhile since I was last on this wonderful site.
I found that
James Sedgwick Stewart was born to James Stewart & Eleanor Margaret Fletcher 16th July 1906 Castle Street Brechin
William Irons Stewart was born to Ann Stewart ( Illegitimate) 18th August 1910 at Bridge Street Brechin
Alexander Milne Stewart was born 12th May 1911 to a Margaret Stewart ( Illegitimate)
