Looking at the record of your Joseph's supposed parents Thomas and Eleanor, here on Ancestry, I think the tree owner has looked at the "Suggested Records" panel on the Ancestry page, and has assumed the suggestions are actually relevant to Thomas and Eleanor - whereas they are only suggestions, and many are clearly nothing to do with the same family. |

Yes Maddie is correct Joseph Blackham born 1713 died 1716 was the son of Richard Blackham 1686 I do not know who his mother was |

I think you'll find it's guesswork by someone who has a so-called 'tree' on Ancestry. |

I did my tree years ago I am sorry to say I do not remember where I got this information from, possibly Family Search ? I have emailed a person who has Joseph born 1665 & died 1716 ( as my message above ) to ask where he got this information from will let you know if he returns my message Cheers Ellen |
