Does anyone have information giving the the place and date of death for the above named
He was born in 1911 at Kingford, New South Wales Australia.
I do not have access to the Australia Arm of genes so cannot search myself

The person asking me is quite elderly and says that all the older members of the are no longer around.
She asked me to help on behalf of her cousin Andrew James Valentine who is a grandson of John S Dowell , so I do not think there will be any help in that quarter

Is the grandson a legitimate descendant?

One assumes that the grandfather was alive when the grandson’s parent was conceived……..so when would that have been?

The line is correct . Andrew Dowell did come from Sandsting in Shetland
I have checked the bayanne site and they do not show anything further that the birth of John in 1911.
