Hi all! Offering lookups for Victoria, Australia. I have births 1836-1920, deaths 1836-1985, marriages 1836-1942. Also some early immigration details, bmd's at sea, and inquests. Also New South Wales births 1788 to 1906, deaths 1788 to 1976 and marriages 1788 to 1956. BMD's up to 1920 (limited after 1905) in Western Australia (WA) plus WA marriages up to 1942 as well as some cemetery/burials. Also Queensland 1829-1914. Hi I wondered if you could find a marriage for Susannah Watson to someone called Beard. they had a son Edwin Noel Beard c 1914. she was born c1879 Stockton, co durham, England. Also any info regarding her death - I have found the son's death in 1996 but not sure whether there where any other children Any help would be greatly appreciated Jane

Now I realise it is WA... Yes Susannah WATSON married Edwin Harvey Richard BEARD in 1913 in Wellington district (reg 5). At the time Edwin snr enlisted they were living in Donnybrook (south west WA). His wife is shown as 'Susy'. Edwin's occupation was benchman. He had a dark complexion, hazel eyes and brown hair, just under 5' 10' and 168lbs. He was born in Toodyay WA in 1884 to William BEARD and Hannah Sarah EATON (reg 24989); he was eldest of 7 children. His parents William and Hannah (or Anna) married in Northam in 1883 (reg 5404). William was born in Toodyay in 1854 to William and Mary HEAVY (or HARVEY) (reg 4654), one of 8 children, and died in Perth 20 Sept 1935 aged 76. Anna Sarah died in Perth 12 Sept 1939 aged 86. Wm & Mary married in Toodyay in 1854 (reg 685). William snr (husband of Mary) died in 1895 aged 63 (reg 1459, parents unknown). Mary died in Northam in 1914 age unknown (reg 83) or 7 Jan 1921 aged 83 (reg 12). Edwin Noel BEARD was born in 1914 in Blackwood district (reg 13). His mother Susannah died in Perth on 15 July 1946 aged 66. Father Edwin snr died in Willagee on 4 Apr 1961 aged 77. Cheers Cherilyn

Any particular HANSFORDS you are trying to trace? Quite a massive task otherwise...! (To give you some idea, there are 161 HANSFORDs on the Pioneer CD and 151 deaths for the surname HANSFORD 1921-85). Early St Kilda couples are John & Mary, John & Maria, Edward & Charlotte and Thos & Mary Ann. Is there any one of these you are looking for specifically? Many of the early HANSFORDs are from Dorsetshire - is that an area of interest? As for Elizabeth in NSW, there are 2 possibles. One died in 1859, father John, in Sydney (7644/122B). The other died aged 26 in 1851 (reg 361/37B). Cheers Cherilyn

I am trying to trace my GGrandad Harry Moore who was born in Victoria circa 1887 to George Frederick Moore (according to Harry's war records) but I would like to know anything about his Mum and if he had any siblings.
