Hi, Maybe you could help me!!! I have a very wierd family I cant find maybe you could help. In various census I find they have various name spellings, this is making it very difficult. 1) Francis Larouche born British subject France b1827 Francis Larouche lived in Greenwich. Francis Larondie same details as both 2) Elizabeth Alice Larondie b1857 London Alice in the 1891 census Elchart in the 1881 census 3) Coloumb Delaney born Ireland 1853- Elizabeth and Coloumb were married in 1880 in westminster in 1901 3 Ivy Cottages Colonel Delaney in 1891 census living in Aldershot 1 Upton Cottages Calaub Delany in 1881 census living in Berwick 31 Little Putney St According to the marriage certificate Coloumbs father was Daniel (deceased at this time) Francis Coloumb and Elizabeth were all Tailors Up to now I have found 7 children Ada being my GGgrandmother. Possibly being the 2nd youngest. The eldest child Alice - 1 census says Alice born Ireland 1880 (couple of weeks after the wedding) 1 census says born london. They have a son named Colonel but this also could be a Colm Coloumb or another varient | have found for the Father. I cannot find any of these before 1871. I hope I havnt bombarded you with info but just wondered if you could find anyone before 1871. Francis Coloumb or Elizabeth. Hope to hear from you soon Thanks Kaz

hi lorraine , thanks for the offer ,I am after the family of john c1833 and ann c1833 Surname HADDOCK from acton in cheshire ,i have them in 1881census with 6 kids but in 1871 there would only be... thomas about 9 ,edward abt 3,and henry about 1, plus possibly joseph c1858 mary c1862 and john c1865 who i think were siblings but did not get a mention in 1881 census so have probably left home by then, would be grateful if you could check 1861 and 1871, as you can see they would only have joseph in 1861 census as other kids were born during the 1860's and 1870's,thanks Pam

Hi Lorraine Could you please look up the 1841 census to see who was living in School Ridge, Thornton (near Bradford), Yorks. One of them may have been the Bailey family. Richard Cheester was there in 1851.The Priestleys also lived there, but I think they came later. There are about 5 houses in School Ridge. Not sure how easy it is to do searches in this way - don't wory if it's too difficult. Thanks., Julia.

hi lorraine ,thanks for the info , not sure these are right, ann's parents were joseph and mary wilbraham,so these would be the grandparents of little joseph rather than those you mention here, thanks again for trying though.take care ....Pam

Hi Lorraine Dont know if you can help me or not. Im not sure if I am just not seeing the wood for the trees but am drawing a big fat blank on a new branch of my tree. The family name is BAXENDINE. I have located them on the 1901 census living in Staple St, London. I would like to trace them back. The names are - Alfred (head) (aged38) Lavinia (wife) (aged 28) Arthur (son) (aged 8) Lily (daughter) (aged 5) Mary (daughter) (aged 1) They were all born in London and I have located Lavinia and Alfreds marriage date but nothing else. Also living in Staple St (next door) was Jas (James) Baxendine who I believe/suspect was Alfred's brother. I would be interested in anything relating to him and I am sure I have seen him somewhere in a census as a prisoner in HMP Pentonville! If you can help I would be grateful!! Thanks - look forward to hearing from you James
