i am trying to find infomation on my g.grandfather edmund davis b/1856 i:e his parents and siblings if any i do not know were he was born he died in 1894 he was living in cheslyn hay staffs his wife was named emma there children were julie,sarah,alfred,emma and rose cheers roger |

I think you're dead right, Richard. I've seen it happen many times before where a child takes the stepfather's name but then uses his legal name at marriage. Wonder if Thomas Boon was the father? If so why didn't they marry sooner? They married just weeks after Edmund was christened. |
