That last one is interesting as there links to Hoxton and Canterbury, which tie in with William Buck. I wonder if this could be William's mother and siblings? I am going to try and find an old map of Canterbury to see if St Peters Place and St Peters Street are close to each other. Logic tells me they probably are. |

I know what you mean about the marriage witness being an engineer and therefore an unlikely friend to a Romany. But elsewhere William is referred to as hawker which I know was a common occupation for Romanies. Still, we are definitely getting somewhere. |
