Hi Back in 1927 was it possible to lie on the birth cert who the mother was, and would a have man been able to register alone. Many thanks |

Yes he would,if he said he was the ''father and husband of the mother'... A birth doesnt have to be registered by the parents and that stands today, but a birth must by law be registered the details given must be given as the TRUTH .this applies to UK, The lying??? Kay. |
