It's possible that the boy was considered more important as a male than the daughter, or that the proud parents were more keen on displaying news of the first child than the second. nell |

Maybe a silly question, but if someone's birth is announced in The Times (in 1987) does that mean that they were super rich, well known?? I've found one of the kids I used to babysit on there... and was just wondering as his sister's birth wasn't announced two years latter (and he wasn't born in London, but in Manchester). Chloe |
