There is a James and a Peter transcribed as Guilliard on the 1861. I have looked at the image and it could be Gilligan, maybe someone else could have a look. I am currently trying to find more about my great grandfather James Gilligan.He was born in Jersey 1845 and his father was called Patrick. I have found him on the 1901 census but would like to know how l can find out more about him from when he was born.
