I went to junior school 1950-1957 with an Eleanor Suckling in Romford. May be a connection.

There was an English poet called Sir John Suckling, 1609-1642. Thought I had heard the name in connection with poetry, so looked it up on Google. Could this family be descendants?

There was a Suckling family in the next road to us when I was growing up in Plumstead. Jan
