What am I doing wrong ?

From top to bottom of the above list seems to be RG09.

I have just trawled through the 39 pages for what I thought was Christchurch district. RG 3064.
Does the info you have give the RG numbers ?

Strange ! The 1871 shows husband of susannah to be a widower.
Will have to send for the cert now; maybe have an address for this demise.

Margaret, the birth and christening you found is Adam b 1849 and his wife Margarets child.
Adam b 1840 and craven b 1858 are brothers.
Both Adam and Craven are family names passed down,

1861 is only showing up to no. 78.

1871 has 76 results for Wellington Street Accrington but unfortunately no house numbers.

Margaret I would be very interested.
I have found throught this family search that both sides of my family Mum's and dad's that they both originate from this CRAVEN Eglin and his two marriages.
A night mare to put on this GR tree and to unravel !

Hi Margaret, Thank you. Yes I have that cert. Craven must have lied about his age.
At the time of the marriage Craven was living at 99 Wellington Street.

I think they would still have had to enter names even if at the Hospital?

..but....way back then, not many people died in Hospitals!

BVRI also has the marrige of 5 or 6 children of Adam in Accrington. Are you interested or do you already have them?

That is the correct family.
Mother Susannah has died and there is a daughter Susana b 1861.
Do you think they were all at the hospital visiting when the emumerator called !
