	Does anyone remember "The Lovely Amy MacDonald"? NOT the modern singer Amy MacDonald but the one that was around abput 30 odd years ago. She was a dizzy blonde singer (& dancer I think) who had a squeaky voice. I remember seeing her in a stage musical & she appeared on TV a lot in those days. One particular show but the title escapes me. I guess she would be in her mid+ 60's now. I can't find any reference to her on the net. Does anyone know what happened to her?

	Yes I remember her so well ................ but I am blowed if I can remember what programme it was in which she enchanted me so much. She played a hopeless Bimbo ............................ but the sketches were most challenging !

	are you confusing her with Sandra Dickinson who married Peter Davison? You may not, but Sandra was 'dizzy' (at least her portrayal) and she married The Doctor too :-)

	Yes, it was Sandra Dickinson who was an American actress with blonde hair and a squeeky voice who was married to Peter Davidson. he was Doctor Who number 5. Aimi MacDonald was British.

	No ................. I doubt that anyone could confuse the Lovely Amy MacDonald with the hapless Sandra Dickinson. For Sandra was always so deliberately the hopeless bimbo .................... but for Amy .......... it just came naturally !
