Hi Caz,
Sorry you aren't feeling very good today, I hope you'll feel a bit better later on.
I didn't read the write-ups about your washing machine,Caz--I'll go back later and have a look at them.
The machines manufacturers could use you for their advertising campaign Caz--not forgetting that you get a share in their profits too.I'm sure you'd be able to sell them.

I'll speak to you soon.

Hope you'll have a better day tomorrow.

Best wishes.

Love, Sallie.

Hi all, just a short one today as I am not feeling good, Sunday was the most painful day I have had for months and although not as bad I still don't know where to put myself last two days.
Glad you got a laugh Vicky, your mums must have been like my mums. Mine has a spinner and it is so quiet you wouldn't know it was going unless you looked. My warden saw it last night and is going to buy one for their static caravan, she couldn't believe all the washing on airer had been done in it, mainly jumpers ready for winter.
Did you read the write-ups of people who bought the washer Sallie? That's what decided me to get that one.
Going for a cuppa then to bed.

Caz xx

Hi all. Just wetting myself with memories of a tabletop washer my mum bought for a caravan she had. It was such a dinky little thing, and worked fine.
She sold the caravan, and being a very frugal person, decided to hold onto it. I was very grateful that she did. I lived in a residential caravan, and my washing maching broke. I managed to get a spin drier from a friend, but it needed to put emptied into a bucket whilst spinning the clothes.

The laughs the kids and I had were endless, but at least my washing got done. Hard work, but very amusing.

I hope you are finding it east to use, and enjoy using it Caz.

Glad you are feeling a bit more upbeat Caz. There's plent life left in the old dog yet love, so just carry on the way you are, and remember to rest, and pace yourself.

Hi Caz,

I've just had a look on google at your washing machine. It looks good, no wonder you were excited when it arrived. My brother and sister-in-law have a motor home that they use for their holidays, I'm thinking that one of the portable washers would be ideal for those.

I hope you are feeling a little bit better today, Caz. Lets hope it won't be too long before you get your hospital appointment through. The sooner you have the tests, the sooner they will be able to help you. I'm thinking about you and keeping my fingers crossed for you.

Speak to you soon.

Best wishes.

Sallie put portable twin tub washer into google and it's the third one down I think, anyway it's from Amazon, blue with a white base.

Liz I am in bed every afternoon but after 7-30 any night, I never know when to ring you for the same reason.

Jean thank you, it's very comforting to know that.

Hi Caz, sorry you wore your new hairdo to the dentist without trying it out at home first lol Maybe you need a note by the door, not saying Have I got my keys, but Have I brushed my hair lol I am sure you looked fine tho and maybe just a bit trendy with some sticky up bits lol

Sounds as tho people have let that woman get away with being selfish all her life and now it's too late for her to change. Shame you can't switch the machines off and dump her stuff on the floor, that would teach her a lesson lol Glad you have changed so you are a different day now and not near her slot, and also that you can use your new toy to wash some stuff so there isn't so much to do in the launderette.

Take care, love, and will try and call you soon, altho he is on earlies this week, with a bit of luck he might have to stay late or go out one of these afternoons lol

love and hugs

Hi Caz,
Nice to hear from you, hope you feel better after your sleep
.
Let's hope that your 'friend' will now stick to the rota and give a bit more thought to you all.

Caz I haven't seen the tabletop washers about. Do you have to send away for them, or can you buy them in stores that sell electrical things. I'd better not mention the name of any store.

Sending you all good wishes.

Oh Sallie it was funny, her mouth dropped open and she said 'oh what's wrong', it was lucky dentist was out of the room, although he is lovely he always has something cheeky to say.
Your right about my friend, actually I say my friend, although she is now, she is my sisters sister in law and I have got friendly through that. She's been told over and over to stick to her times but ignores the manager. My time was after hers on a Tuesday 5-30 till 7-00 and with hubby not getting home till 6-30 he went down to wash his workclothes and dry them in the flat. On the two occasions he has been on holiday we have gone down at 5-30 to find her doing her washing, first time we got out of the lift and she was waiting for it to go back upstairs, she said oh washers are full I have just put mine in. I blew my top and said her time had finished, she said well she had missed her bus and had to do the washing. That's her attitude to everything, even her own daughter, with my sister with them said to her one day, oh mother it's always me, me, me, with you.
Anyway I have changed my evening slot to Wednesday now.

Ann I have always been pleased with the little mundane things in life, never been one for expensive jewellry or big televisions and things like that.
Going for a nap now.

Just looking in to see how you are today. Caz you made me laugh when you told us about the dentist, I wonder what the nurse must have thought
when she seen the look on your face.

Your friend certainly looks as though she is the main culprit in spoiling the wash rota for the rest of you. Does she realise that she is abusing the rota? Surely someone in authority should have a word with her. It looks as though she is all ME, ME.

Hope you are feeling a bit better today and finding things a little easier.
Enjoy the rest of the weekend.

Best wishes.

Glad you got a compromise with the rota problem Caz, how selfish of your friend to want to upset a system that has worked perfectly well for 10 years. I bet she is not a popular neighbour. Glad also that you have got your little washer, it will be so useful for you. strange the mundane things that can please us isn't it?

Liz I find it therapeutic as well but all on one passage so not hard for me, easier when soaked overnight as well. I got one of those airers from Ar**s that fits over bath and has a third piece that goes further up wall, it holds a lot and once shower curtain is pulled over most of it bathroom looks normal, not like a laundry.
I have to tell you this, might give you a giggle, someone, and we can guess who, rang me as I was getting ready to go to dentist yesterday. Well, it was only when I got sat in his chair I realised I had the 'tousled just got out of bed look', literally, I had forgotten to brush my hair with being in a rush. A look of horror must have been on my face as nurse asked what was wrong, she came over and put one or two pieces in their place and said it wasn't noticable. OMG, I nearly died of embarassment.
You are right about the rota and selfish people, one man stood up and very forcefully stated that he has been here ten years and rota worked perfectly until this last year when it all got out of hand. My friend has been here a year now!!!

Caz, I am pleased you have a new toy to play with and that it will save your poor hands and wrists from the hand washing. I did some of that yesterday, I do it upstairs in the bathroom basin and rinse things in the bath in cold water then put them in a little fabric softener - sometimes it is quite therapeutic but it is time consuming too and having to traipse up and down the stairs with the things as I only have a small container for them and couldn't mix some coloured things, it quite wore me out. Got them dry really fast tho so all ironed and ready if I want to go out now.
You see how you inspired confidence in Carole at the meeting or was she going to duck behind you if things got nasty lol Glad you still have the washing machine rota, what a shame some selfish people spoil it for others.

take care
Love

Hi Carol, Carole and Sallie, yes I do feel a bit better today, what will be will be I always think, just got a bit upset to be told it's getting worse, or got into my internal organs.
Love my little washer and can do most things in flat now, doing sheets and towels downstairs. I used to wash underclothes and t shirts etc in a big bucket in bathroom and they dried overnight just by handwringing.
I am so glad we are keeping the rota as I'd hate my sister to come on her day only to find laundry full, after all she has her own life.
