Isn't it sad Karen when we find out that isn't so. Also when we find out there are people in authority who take advantage of their position and rort the system. But the saddest thing of all is when we find out that not all adults are kind to and protective of children. If you've grown up in a loving home its so sad to find out that not all children grew up in that way. This is from experience when I found out that a schoolfriend lived in a terrible household where she was constantly abused. It was a shock that I never forgot. |

I remember when I was about five, I reckoned being sixteen or so would be fantastic because it seemed so grown up. Then when I got to sixteen, all I got was mountains of GCSE homework and coursework to do and, naturally, that was when I started thinking, "Wouldn't it be great to be 5 again?"! |
