I went into a shop in one of our nearby towns this morning, and they had in Christmas decorations, wrapping paper, snowmen etc.
I think that is just about taking the biscuit, and it's not even Bank Holiday Monday yet. Struth. Next it will be Easter Eggs at Halloween

I saw the same in Folkestone last week.
Faaaaaar too early !

Given that left over Christmas cards are on sale in some places in January / February, there are not many months without seeing them on sale

I think they are doing it early so they arent left with too much stock etc.
What used to be the January sales which we all looked forward to, they have them in Nov lol.

Its sad really. We now get inundated from the end of August up to the big day with the commercial side of Christmas. Then when it arrives its sort of an anti-climax, as though Christmas Day itself is the end of it all of all when really it should be the start. (12 days of Christmas). On Boxing Day you hear people saying "I'll be glad when its over". Can't blame them really, after 4 months of it..................................................

By the way Julia, I made a pie with the blackberries I picked. It was delicious, have frozen the rest of the blackberries, will make a crumble on
