I think JoyBoroAngel has put a Hex on me with her weather of last night. We have just had a violent storm for about 1/2 hour. I hate the banging and flashing, see I can't even say the proper words for it. The rain and the trees were horizontal, and OH wanted to go out and build an Ark, but couldn't stand up in it. Offered to tie him to the drain pipe, but he wasn't having it.
Worst part was that I wanted, and normally have, a large balloon of Brandy, but only an hour earlier, I had taken 2 x Codeine, for me continuious bowel pains. OMG, life can be such a bitch at times. Hope it has passed now, as I am running me lappy on the battery.

I am not too bad with the rain Joy, it is the other stuff. At least it saves me having to water the garden, so I can get on with other things. Don't think we have seen the last of it, though it is sun shining now.

Well I've been out for a walk (found a nature reserve I didnt know was there!) this afternoon. It's very breezy, but bright sunshine, blue skies and cotton wool clouds...but it feels like a storm is brewing...I wonder how long it will be before it arrives in Norwich.

We had a short shower here, otherwise it is sunny but blowy.

OH went up the town a little while ago, and said the tail backs of traffic were horrendous both ways. Just heared on the local news that a garage had been hit by lightening and a fire engine was blocking the road. So, I went into the other room to tell OH. He said '" Thought it was a thunder bolt somewhere local, but didn't think I'd tell you till later". Men, what are they like.

Yep, the winds got up here too, and the clouds are slightly bigger and darker, but the sun is still shining.

It's all the boro's fault, they started this with their 'tanking down' rain last night.
