	Its a contract Teresa but she has stuff stored on her sim ~ I know they cover for certain things but not sure bout washing x

	Hi Mel, Take the back of the phone off, remove the battery & Sim card. Then either put the parts onto on a folded towel above a radiator (Dont put the parts directly on the rad) or in the airing cupboard for 24hrs. If your lucky the phone when re-assembled will still work. The Sim card should be ok when fully dry. Steve x

	Right from my days with one of the big players in the mobile industry: Water damage will not be covered by any mobile phone insurance (in fact they use it as a get out from paying up). Its worth taking the phone apart ie battery off, sim card out and leave all parts to dry out properly and I mean properly otherwise the contacts may rust. Before re-assembling wipe ths sim card on a clean lint free cloth to get rid of any grease and finger marks and then re-assemble...then cross your fingers

	Even if it doesnt work...take it apart again and leave it.....I had a Samsung that took nearly a month before it started working again....nooo dont smash it up

	Take the battery & sim out, put it in a poly bag of rice & bung in the airing cupboard for a few days.
