I didn't think I did,but today someone asked me if I was from the west country.I grew up in Plymouth .He said he noticed a bit of a burr lol.
I never had a Plymouth accent as my parents were not from there.Dad Scottish and `mum from North Devon,but she was Mrs Bouquet and was posh lol.

Midland - a mish mash of Brum (cus I worked there for a fair few years) and Staffordshire ''you aright youth?"
Mind you when I lived in west Cornwall within 12 months I was talking like Jethro

my eldest and lad stand out as they have southern acents (now live in midlands) but tiddler who was born here has a midlands accent.

Me and hubby keep being told you arent from round here are you only been here 7 years but obviously the southern accent is still there or in my case more Londony and hubbys is mingled with a devon one.

mine was cockney until was three then it turned into broad yorkshire...lol

im the same as joy when not in my region get took for a geordie but im a smoggy for boro
