G'day, or evening to you all

Mau, I'm serious (I can be at times!) it was probably a motorbike frog.

They make a hell of a racket during the breeding season. That was the type that my daughter stocked her pond with. At night we would leave the kitchen light on and watch the frogs on the windos eating all the insects which were attracted to the light

We still find the odd one or two in the garden.

Yes Allan............frogs do squeal when the cat gets them , good job they do because it gives me a chance to rush to there rescue.........I think frogs are wonderful creatures and had a good amount of them in the garden . Unfortunatly I got a new cat a couple of years ago and she is mad on hunting them .
It gave me a fright the first time I heard a frog squeal , I hadn't realised they did it either .

Now frogs i like no problem lol When on holiday in Australia, there was a beautiful, bright green frog sat on a pond in the garden, at night you could hear it...sounded like a motorbike...we called it Harley.
I'd never harm a frog :O)

Hi Amanda

A serious question....do the frogs squeal when the cats catch them?

The reason I ask is that we had a frog pond here in Oz and when the cats were chasing the frogs (but not quite catching them!) the frogs would give off a high pitched squeal.

The first time I heard it it gave me a major fright!

Regards
