The implication in your statement is that you would advise that you were reporting contemporaneously. Along the lines of "I have reported that post" or some such.

In this case there was nothing other than a statement AFTER the ban was announced. Now, due to the fact that this was as a result of language used in a pm, it was pretty obvious who had done the report and so the statement was made.

But please, let's not get started about comments made in pms or we'll be here all day.

Not quite right Keith... you fought to clear your name, both on these boards and off, and fought to get your ban overturned... good luck to you... but your reaction to those dreadful accusations was most definitely not *no comment* so please allow others the right to clear their own names, or to debate the accusations thrown at them.

Exactly Muffy. Not many would, and then to be told you're protesting too much.

Yes it was a very childish, immature thing to do on that blog, not just an insult to our intelligence, but pretty damaging to their own moral integrity.

We'll be blamed for it all, it'll be all our fault of course. It won't be anything to do with individual choice, and whether of not that person made her own decision to do what she did, and her responsibility for doing so.

It would be funny if it wasn't so bl**dy tragic.

I defy anyone not to reply if your name was being bandied about and accusations made about inappropriate relationships between you and your friends husband.

Oh but yeah right.....I'm supposed to keep my mouth shut for a quiet life.

I wonder how many would squawk a hell of a lot louder than me if it was THEM that was being spoken about......

I cannot for the life of me understand why someone would put up an invitation to view a tree and then squawk like hell when people looked at it.

Then to scream that the site had been desecrated by that was really beyond the pale. NO HARM WAS DONE. It was an open web site FGS. Nobody broke through any security (as there was none). Living people were hidden, certainly when I looked.

The retaliation for the above was a reopened blog which would have been funny if it hadn't had been so damned insulting to peoples' intelligence.

BTW I await with interest Carol Paine's response to the blog.
