How upsetting for you all - and the poor cat. When our cats have been up trees, they seem to come down in the end, unharmed but a bit frightened. |

Gail and Daff, I know, I am still sniggering myself. I sometimes see her cat wandering across my garden and I want to tell it what a lucky escape it had.... |

Jude, they do make a lot of fuss when up a tree, but I have never known one stay up there. Lets hope it comes down before the fire brigade have to come out. I would think it would be looking for a drink first. |

Morning.....Cat is still up the tree. Everyone in the road has been notified by my sister and a couple of other neighbours, between them all they have also contacted everyone they can think of who might do a rescue job, including Gloucester rescue service, they told the neighbours not to stand under the tree as it would only upset the cat more (very true). Unfortunately Rooks and Magpies are attacking it now. The Fireman yesterday said they would definately be there today, so FINGERS CROSSED!!! |

Yeyyyy the cat was rescued about half hr ago and it took 3 hrs. Sister said the brigade were brilliant. RSPCA were useless. They had to cut 2 branches down and the 2nd one they attached a weight to it with the intentions of the branch being lowered for the cat to jump to the bext branch, but the branch snapped and the cat had to cling onto the trunk and then made his was down backwards and....... wooooosh he was gone. |

Pleased to hear the cat is down, hope he is ok. We had a cat which kept coming to us to be fed, and was rather thin, he did not have a collar, so we took him to the vet, and he had an identity chip in his neck. He lived fairly near to us, so we were able to take him back. |

Well that's one less life he has - hope he doesn't go climbing again, unless he was scared up the tree by a dog or something |
