I make a list of all the stuff I need to get but will pick up a couple of things if they're on special or as an extra. I make lists for just about everything - that's an oldies thing. You'd know about that now TW |

A well known marketing ploy, TW. The trouble with not having a list is that you end up with 10 packets of rice in the cupboard and no cereal or baked beans. |

Sue, I don't do that by my OH does. He wanted some mustard, got some, then next time he went shopping, he thought he still needed it, he'd forgotten he already bought it. |

I make lists for holidays too, Elaine. I make lists at Christmas and when we have a do at our house. When we go on a big holiday - such as going to the UK - I make lists of places we have to see, want to see and will see if there's time |

I live by those kind of lists. Holidays, even days out, or if someone is coming for the day, I list all the things I need, or I WILL forget something. |

You're right about the task lists TW. I make task lists at times when there is a lot to do. It is good to tick off the jobs as they're done. I don't get too strict about it though and stress if I don't finish everything on the list. |
