Is Royal Doulton still holding its prices? my brother collected some figurines...not my taste to be honest,...

I have noticed in the auction rooms that the RD Ladies which did hit some heights are not doing so now, the same is true of a lot of china ...from the boom time around 10 years ago...

AnninGlos Report 22 Sep 2009 13:54

I do have one R Doulton plate, inherited from my Mum when she died. I also have a small collection of R Doulton ladies from some years back, theya re still on display in my dining room and I still like them but switched allegiance to Guiseppe Armani (Florence)

we had a few pieces as a wedding gift I think its called "moonlight rose" (plate, bowl and ewer) and has gold edging and another piece (plate) we were informed is "memory Lane" also a pile of crocks from Nans cabinet called "country rose" bet they are older than me so pretty and delicate the lot so when G was born we shipped em of to me Dads for safekeeping x
