The little girl without a book

Once upon a time there was a little girl called Queenie. Queenie was a very pretty girl apart from her squint and permanant frown. These came about from her insistance of reading. Unfortuantely she read in half light books that were forbidden, she also read books far too old for her, which in turn just confused her.
One day MR and Mrs King took away all of Queenies books, leaving Queenie heartbroken.
For weeks Queenie languished in halfway state. So bad did she get that Mummy King felt for her daughter and tried to sneak her a book back in.
NO said Daddy King that child needs other interests, but what asked Mummy.

Mr King thought hard and came up with the solution that Queenie needed the INTERNET ...
so at great cost he had it installed ( he did also know that it would benifit him ! ) Mummy King dithered but agreed when she realised she could shop on line.
Queenie brightened up because there on this new thing was books. It wasn't long before it was realised that all Queenie was doing again was reading, the squint and the frown had returned. So this time Mummy King, not wanting to lose her shopping decided to take action.
Amazed she was to find Amazon Books mmm this way she could check what her daughter was reading.
Little did they know that Queenie, never being able to get on her own computer had started going out to the internet cafe's that she had read about.

The fresh air did her wonders, the internet cafe was better

over to you all
