Diaxepam can be really affective. Sorry you are going through this. When I had it some years ago the funniest thing was my OH helping me to dress and the trouble he had with my tights! I wouldnt leave them off because it was cold and I didnt have trousers.

TW the prescription cost me £21 as I needed 3 dif things.........my vino budget for the next few weeks has gone to the NHS lol

Rose it's well weird....*lights on on.......no one home* lol.

TW you'll be pleased to know I've found a chirapractor who I will visit as soon as the worst of the pain has past. xx

I feel for you,I have had a form of sciatica in my right buttock( but not down the leg since June).Touch wood I think it has just about gone.I kept the pharmacutical (sp) companies going and rattled as I moved lol.
The pain is atrocious isn't it.had me in tears a few times, and the trouble getting pants on ...well !!!!!.I spent so long hanging on to my right cheek ,my hand and it became inseperable lol
I hope with your Diazapam and Pain Killers you get some relief.

Thanks Jane .......I can still feel it but I feel very far away from it if that makes sense lol.

Luckily my friends and family have been superstars and because I'm not allowed to drive are taking over my shopping ans school run til OH is off later in the week.......bless them.

The children are laughing at me because they have to repeat themselves several times before I can compute what they are trying to tell me lol xx

**was it a chirapractor Joan? I've had one recommended to me and soon as the worst has passed am going to give it a go......anything has to be better than this !!! xx

Jane Report 29 Sep 2009 19:59

I blamed my sciatica on sitting badly using the computer.I used my laptop perched on the edge of the settee with pooter on the coffee table!!!!!!!!!!!!.I now sit up properly at the dining table to use it.
Getting out of bed in the morning and not being able to put the foot on the floor,
Soooooooo Painful !!!!!!!
