Good news Maz, Jean's a fighter, what spirit!

And that's why we all think so much of her.

It'll do her good to be home for a while too.

Thanks for the update, Maz....... I bet she's exhausted, all those lovely radiographers, lol.... some are rather cute, so I'm told!!

Seriously... that is excellent news.... hopefully getting home to her own bed and home cooking will be a huge boost for her.

Maz thank you, and that is the reason we do all think so much of her. That she doesn't expect it. I hope the treatment does its job and stops the tumour in its tracks. Love to Jean.

Maz (the Royal One) in the East End 9256 Report 9 Oct 2009 21:13

Hi everyone, just wanted to let you know the latest news.

I spoke to Jean earlier. She has now had 3 x 15 minute sessions of radiotherapy - only 2 more to go. As expected, she's absolutely exhausted, but sounds still in reasonably good spirits.

There is a little light at the end of the tunnel as she may possibly be allowed home in the middle of next week. It's not certain what improvements the radiotherapy will bring about, if any, but it hopefully will stop the tumour in it's tracks for a while at the very least.

She would like to thank everyone who has sent a message or card or anything else - people's kindness overwhelms her as she just can't understand why we all think so much of her!

Thanks again everyone for your continued support.

xxxxxxxxxx

Hi Jean. Hope you are shining like the sun sweetheart.

Maz, Thank you, having had BC appreciate everything that everyone does to help the charity, but can I just say, please try to buy direct from BC charity if at all possible, as only pennies from every sale go to the charity.
Thanks to everyone who contributes.
