Daff. I knew you would do it.

You have certainly had a year of it, but now you can have a drink to celebrate.
Wishing you many years ahead of you, you lovely lady.

See everyone tomorrow....... who has the paracetamol? lol!

Now I will have my say...now that Daff is tucked up in Bed. :-)))........

NO! thank you Daffy for being you!....I don't always agree with you ( as yer know lol ) but even while you have been seriously ill...you have been there for your friends.

Some people are moaners and some are just beautiful people...you are one of the latter ( as is Our Jean and SueM ) There aren't many in the world, I am certainly not one of them, but when one meets or converses with one It makes life worth while....

Love from Susan

Janey, my hair has always been thick and strong, but straight... it has grown back thicker, and stronger, with a slight kink... and it stands up like a toilet brush, lol... it does feel very very soft though.... I couldn't bring myself to get a wig... I shocked everyone by going au natural, lol... well, I wore a hat out cos it got cold with no hair on my head... The thought of a wig just freaked me out... strange, isn't it?

Havoc..... thank you.... the thread really meant a lot to me when I was very ill... it was a bit of a lifeline into a real world, my real world... and yet it was online, so cyber... very odd! And now it is like a little cafe... the place I stop and have a cuppa, meet up with friends, catch up with gossip etc and relax before I move on.

Vicky.... thank you, and thank you for all the pm's and stuff when you weren't feeling wonderful yourself, mwah... that's the pair of us, eh? Onward and upward, lol

~~~~~~ to the lovely 007 1/2 xxxxx
Tricia..... thank you so much... my *strain* of AML is a bit tough... but there is the possibility of being told *cured* if I remain cancer free for the next 4 years.... some specialists say 10, but mine is an optimist, lol So in 4 years.... we are going to have one hell of a party, lol..... mind you, I have started planning next years' already, lol ;¬))
Jean, Kay, and Gillian.... thank you all so much..... especially when I know that you have been there for me when you have had your own health problems, or loved ones with them.... bless you all, xxxxx
Sandra, thank you xxx
Sallie, bless you..... well he celebrated... he has just got up with a sore head, lololol ;¬)) Thank you so much xx
Gwyn, that was so strange, both of us realising the connection at the same time, lolol... to some who may not know... many many years ago, back when dinosaurs walked the earth (ok, ok, but that is artistic licence, is that) Gwyn and I lived near each other, and would walk our respective bumps to the antenatal clinic... our babies were born within 3 weeks of each other.... and the last time I had seen Gwyn and her son was on my son no1's 1st birthday, at his party........ Gwyn recognised a little anecdote..... and I recognised her response... and we have met up twice since then... 34 years later! mwah, Gwyn....
Lady Cutie and Jean, thank you both so much...... yes, laughter is such good medicine......
Pauline, I do hope your cousin carries on doing so well.... if you want to put him in contact with me, I am happy to do so... one of the hardest things I found was that there was very little positive info about AML, unless one was lucky enough to have the *good cytogenic* ones... mine was in the *normal cytogenics* so much more unpredictable.... It is such a huge boost when you read of others who are also doing well.... so please pm me if you think he would like to contact me. If he doesn't I'll understand.... but tell him I'll be wishing him well... please would you let me know how he goes on? Thank you
Taff and Jax and Puss... you aren't here at the moment, but *blows kisses* in your direction, cos you have meant so much to me over the last year. Thank you, all of you.
Right.... last, but not least.... a special mention to three very wonderful people, Ann Glos, Susan numbers and Sue M... they have phoned, pm'd, e-mailed me regularly... they have helped me let off steam, they have been so much support to me and my lovely (quiet, lol) husband, they have worried over me, laughed and cried for me, and just been wonderful. Without you, the last year would have been so much harder... thank you, so very very much. xxxxx
Ps..... Susan numbers... I have seen it, so no deleting it now, lolol! ;¬))
Love
