I stopped smoking many years ago so I am quite ignorant of the latest goings on. I didn't realise that you cannot now buy ciggies without a tip. No longer would I be able to get my Capstan Full Strenght. And I was always told that Craven "A" were good for the throat

I've been toying with the idea of quitting just lately . I have a rotton cough at the moment ..........I have been cutting down but not sure I'm ready to do the whole quitting thing .

maybe I'd migrate on to rollies - if I could only manage to (a) roll one (b) keep it alight for more than a nano-second and (c) stop bits of baccie from getting in my teeth

I use one of the silly rolling machines.....can't do it by hand.....haven't got baccy in my teeth (yet) BUT they're not as nice.......however......it's the chemicals APPARENTLY that keep em burning hence the reason why rollies if you HAVE to smoke are supposed to be better for you xx

Yes , they do go out but then the room doesn't fill with un-smoked smoke.......lol

You can get filters to poke in the end to stop the baccy on teeth effect : )

So I have to (a) manage that rolling mularkey and (b) poke a filter in the end........

Good grief girls (I've noticed it's only us feminine ones on here)
A bit of practice and it's easy to roll a fag AND put a filter in.
Rollies don't keep burning when you put them in the ashtray (a saving)
Bits don't drop out if you pack them tight enough.
I recommend you don't try Drum though until you are more experienced at rolling.
I have about 15 packs of the stuff - courtesy of my mum - who seems to think I like it!! It's as dry as tea leaves.

Just hand rolled a perfect rollie with filter, using Drum in 20 seconds!

I gave up recently, cos I had to and now I am rich and saving a bloody fortune, whether I go back to them is another question but I love my ciggies and I miss them :(
