I have a couple of first cousins who have trees on here.... but after the initial contact we haven't really kept in touch, and I don't think they use the boards at all... I don't even have access to the one's tree... but I pointed out a discrepancy in her tree... her mum did it all the old fashioned way, she died before the internet took off and broadband kicked in... but she was following the wrong George... the George she followed actually died in infancy, so all the ancestors on that branch (which was my cousin's father's and my mum's paternal grandfather's line) are wrong! Took me ages to work out why there were so many discrepancies.

But I don't think it went down well with my cousin that her mum's research was wrong on that line.

I have had much more contact with my grandparent's cousins and siblings' grandchildren, lolol... too early for me to work out the relationship, second cousins, I think! But I have had loads of contact with at least 6 on all branches, great fun.

I have a first cousin on here, but don't think she posts ... also distantly related to the lovely Uzzi .... and Mr Jeffy (aka Jeff the minstrel) but he doesn't post now.

They are the ones I know about lol !

Kitty, ..of cooking fame, is my nearest relative who posts on GR.
We found out that we are 4th cousins, by chatting on these boards.

know dad couin has tree on here and my nephew i on here but dont think any of them chat on the boards

Nobody that I know of. I think anyone that tried with my Family Tree probably gave up after having a mental breakdown over the difficulties! :-)

Lynda has said once or twice that she'd adopt me though.lol

I "found" my brother/half brother through hot matches. When I say "found", that'sa bit of a stretch, as I didn't know he existed, so certainly didn't know he was "lost".

He's my mother's son (and possibly my father's son too - we'll never know) and was adopted at birth, and he put up a "family tree" with only his name and my (and of course his) mum's in the hope of finding a match..... which he did - me!

& for those that don't know...........Stray has the most loveliest, longest hair ever...., and she straightens her hair each day with............... an Iron.......Tefal one i think? lol...................

Have a first cousin who has his tree on here but doesnt post on threads ,also my youngest sister who lives in canada is a member but doesnt post . One of my nephews ,the younger son of my elder Bros is also on here BUT I seem to be the only one who uses the Boards

Or you could say: my grandfather's cousin's daughter's son-in-law.
