just glad to be alive to see christmas after my stroke in april so not bothered what I do.

we both used to work christmas which was ok until we had children and hubby still had to work.

Glad he gave up catering so could spend more time with them.

Wont be lot of pressies in this house because of finances but at least we will have each other.

Same here being home alone, OH will work xmas eve night the day of xmas day and new years eve, all that on top of they have already put him on short time and may lay him off in Jan.

If I was sure they were going to I would tell them to stuff christmas with the goose :-)

Hayley, you can pick any day you like and call it Christmas Day! I have disliked Christmas since my Mother died some 20 years ago. BUT... having small grandchildren has lifted my jaded heart. so I am now looking forward to it. You could always trot down here and stay at my place...I wont be here:-)) mwahh BCXX

OH had Christmas off as booked holidays.

Now we'll be lucky if he's still in a job after 16 Nov.....30 day possible redundancy notice received in post last week.

Christmas is looking shaky for us here as well :0(
