I think this is a wind-up. Someone else believes some members have more influence on staff than others....

Maybe you could PM the people who have allegedly made this claim to you and ask them to identify themselves in this thread and explain their remarks.


Sadly, you aren't able to PM me any more. But of course, I'm not one of these "public members" ([sic], as you are wont to say) anyhow, and not only because as far as I know there's no such thing.

Interestingly, I'd be pretty confident that at least one such PM was from someone with initials PM! - a member I know to have sent just such an unsolicited message in the past to someone who was very much less than impressed, and who reported it to management. Sensible woman.
