My darling Mum UPDATE....

Yesterday morning I got the dreaded phone call from my Mums Care Home to say she had passed away, even though deep down the day before I sensed things were not very good I had selfishly thought she would bounce back. |

Frances, I had the same call in 1995 and as you say, it strikes you hard even tho you know the time had to come.... We do seem to think people will go on forever but now bless her, she is at rest and in time your pain will ease altho it may not seem so right now. |

My condolences in buckets full Frances. I was with my Mum, in the nursing home when she 'went'. Dad had nipped home for something to eat, though they could have catered for him. It was very peaceful, all I could have wanted for her, and a final release from all her pain. |
