Well I have finished debating with myself and

we ain't sure !

I do think that you become less tolerant of things but I look around me at the over 50's and realize the grumpy ones must have been that way always. I know so many over 50 who you can't stop laughing if you tried to ! ( and we have late at night !! )

Yes please, Rambling Rose. That could be very useful.

~~~~~~ to all.... well, I wouldn't call myself a misery, exactly... I take most of what life throws at me, no matter how bad, and try to keep a smile pinned to my face...... but these are the MAJOR things
What then happens, is farkling little things irritate me immensely... like whole families stopping mid track in the middle of the fruit and veg, to discuss the goings on in their lives... trollies, kids and wheelchairs totally blocking anyone from getting to the produce.
Or people parking in the disabled or Parent and child spots, when they have no child with them... or run out *quickly* to the hole in the wall.....
People who feel it is ok to spit wherever they feel like it.... mainly men and boys.
People who carefully pack away their shopping, but then shove the children into the car any old where.... often on the floor... oh, and the teenage boys in these cases always get a seat with a seatbelt... the littlies and the girls are left loose.... I see this a great deal at our local supermarkets.
Boy (and some girl) racers.
People who drive their cars so far up your rear, they can see your speedometer.
People who release swing doors without checking to see if there is anyone behind them.
Well.... these are just a few of my least favourite things, lolol
But the very big stuff, I am very stoical about!
Love
You're a baby, Rose. Life is what you make it. I've been well over fifty for a long time and I don't consider myself a miseryguts! Seems to me there are a lot of those who could call themselves that and yet they still have a long way to go before they reach fifty!
I have been looking for a web-site of old moaners so that I gan join them!
Now that I am 50 + + +!
At last I am getting more willing to stand up for myself, (only taken 60 years! lol).
Is there a grumpy old persons forum I can join somewhere?
Hi Rose
I'm definitely on the wrong side of 50 according to the birth cert, but I'm really stuck at 20 something. it's not so much a case of "the drugs don't work any more", more that "the shoe's don't fit any more". When, oh when, did I acquire fat feet??
Just realised that I'm listening to The Script singing "I'm alive but I'm barely breathing"- oh, no!!!!
Ah, Rose, age is just a number to let others know how long you have spent on this planet. Actual age is entirely different and you're nowhere near 50 lol
I, myself, am about 17....just with a lot more confidence than when I was 17 ;-) Btw I haven't spent anywhere near 50 years on this planet either lol
I'm going to have a moan here - I can't stand the fact that our MP's don't learn from history and think they can break the rules they set up - yet we have to 'obey' them.
Could be an age thing - as an ex protester, I'm appalled that our 'youth' accept the clap trap governments spew out, or vent their anger in other less productive ways (spraying graffitti etc)
So, I believe we are perfectly entitled to moan about the numbskulls who are in parliament.
No, I think we just reach an age where we're not frightened to have a good moan about the things that have always annoyed us. :-)
wmsl Rose........ maybe you should start your own happy thread!! ;¬)) I have been a member for a while over there... but come scuttling back here cos I feel more at home here.
I also feel a little bit insignificant when I look at all those sexy atavars, lol... mine is ok.... with my nice bright orb in my hand ready to chuck it at anyone who offends!
I put the one I have on FB up for about 5 hours once... had some very very dodgy pm's!! I shall have to dig out *mamma Daff* she takes no prisoners.... her appearance is a bit overwhelming, in a sort of genial granny with lots of attitude (like one of the two from Aggy and Kim) lol
Is my descent into *telling it like I think it is* that noticeable? lolol!!
Love
