My little lad was sent a card last year from Santa Claus (Col) and it was great...all the family loved it. He could read his own name on it and the story was lovely...it even mentioned his little dogs and brothers and especially Tinky Winky who he is obsessed with.

Go on send your little one a Christmas card...they will not be disappointed and it is free.

Ho Ho Ho....thank you to all those who have pm'd me, but you know it does help Santa if you can include the child's hobbies, interests, favourite TV progs, friends and pets names indeed anything that 'only Santa would know'.

For those who haven't pm'd or are perhaps uncertain what a card from Santa looks like I am more than pleased to send a sample card to you.

Thanks for the pm's please ensure that the following information is sent with your request:

To answer one or two who haven't come across the cards before some basic information:

The Christmas cards are an animated e-mail Christmas card from Father Christmas/Santa and comes from a Father Christmas e-mail address.

At the end of the card there is a message from Santa / Father Christmas in which he refers to the child by name and mentions interests, pets names, what they want for Christmas etc.

This year for the first time the card comes from a Yahoo Father Christmas e-mail address so the child can write back and get a further reply if they wish.

Delivery date can be scheduled and is delivered overnight on the day in question

Its all totally FREE-

I started doing it when I played Santa for the village playgroup a few years back and got a buzz from the happiness (my own lad is 27 and doesn't tend to get excited by Santa these days lol)

No e-mail addresses are passed to third parties

I hold a CRB certificate (important in these days) and I encourage 100% participation of parents and grandparents input and for that reason when you ask for a card I send you my own Hot mail e-mail address (so that you can keep Santa up to date).

All i need is:

Child's name AND age (in order to select best possible card)

Where they live

Sibling Details

Pet and/or best friend details

What they want for Christmas

Any other information you think relative

and the date and of course the e-mail address you want the card sent to

Just nudging to remind you all that a card from the big fella in the red suit can be requested now for any time between 23 Nov and 24 Dec...last year lots waited till the last minute to ask for cards and I was hard pressed to make dreams come true (although I did manage to send them all thanks to the stuff they call midnight oil)
