Of course it is for us to question...everything , that is why we have free will and a brain...blind acceptance is not what we are here for ...going with that premise there would never have been progress and we would still be living in poverty and disease because people would never have questioned it, that would have been "God's will" and nothing to be done about it..

I believe it is God's will, that we get off our backsides and change what can be changed for the better, and to learn from that which we can't (yet) change and strive to make a difference in the future.

Disease is not 'God given' imo, it is a fact of how we are made , physiologically ( think that's the right word) , what IS God given is the nous, the heart and the will to do something about it.

I don't believe that darklady...

I believe there are reasons why some suffer, but it is not to make our ( or their) faith in God stronger.... maybe to make us more compassionate and understanding and do what we can for those we can while we're here. Build 'our soul' , with actions rather than words? maybe...........

Now we all have a chance to give something... even though it is a small amount of love in a card... love is the only thing that is never wasted.
