Well. Mine never went near the kitchen until about nine years ago. Then he retired. He cooks Monday to Friday. Beautifully presented, great variety, cleans up as he goes. I shouldn't complain but now I'm supposed to attain the same standard on the weekends when it's my turn. And, I too would like just a tad less on my plate. But then who's grumbling it is fantastic coming home to a cooked meal each night.

My OH is a great cook.... but have to agree with others... he makes a bloody (oops, swearing) awful mess!!!

Our wedding anniversary on Friday, cooked loveley meal tonight (Saturday, don't ask why a day late). Took me nearly an hour to sort the kitchen out after. Still some pots n soak.

Just finishing an anniversay present of sauvignon blanc fro m my youngest son, OH IS PLAYING POKER on PC.

Who said romance is dead?....... must know my OH because his mate has just turned up!!!

My ever loving needs a compass to find the kitchen. The odd occasion that he has cooked dinner,it takes him hours, because he dosn't know where things live.

Then,he manages to dirty every pot,pan and all cutlery.

Naturally,he dosn't wash dishes.

Why the bloody hell do we love them ?????

We share the cooking here, as we both like doing it.

But my OH is a lazy cook sometimes, and it's often something covered in breadcrumbs from the freezer and chips. But when he puts his mind to it, he's a damn good cook.

I just wish he would remember there are only two of us, not 22!

LOL Rose - nah - he wouldn't fit! Would have to be a bliddy big barbecue!

Me too Julie. My cooking is either inedible, beans on toast, or we go out and eat!
