I just think they are interesting, lol..and clever . Moab may have been a male, they die after mating which seems terribly unfair !

Rita, and all,

It is with genuine sadness that I have to add a postscript to this thread, I went downstairs this morning and my spider , who I shall call ' Moab ' has died ... he died (of natural causes ) where he was last night .

by way of an epitaph , the words of Gandalf

“Many that live deserve death. And some that die deserve life. Can you give it to them? Then do not be too eager to deal out death in judgement. For even the very wise cannot see all ends.”

'everytime i watch QI there's a woman sat in the corner of the room - she hasn't moved a muscle......................oh hang on she shifted about 3 inches then.... and now she's stopped again - hmmmmmm '

Perhaps it's enthralled by Stephen Fry's knowledge. Maybe it thinks you're watching BBC2 and it's hoping to catch the phone number for the Open University so it can jot it down and enquire about courses in human psychology. (Well it's been studying you for long enough!)
