For the last few years I have posted this thread and C & Pd all the messages to the Support Our Soldiers Message Forum...where it can be seen by the families of those serving their country to let them know that many people on GR think of them at Christmas and send messages of goodwill to the troops and their families

I am doing this a little earlier than usual as I will be away in Dec and busy elsewhere if you would like to add please be aware I will only add your board name or real name if you wish me to do so , otherwise I will just send the message .....so please let me know .....this is the site addy I will be C & P to...

www.supportoursoldiers.co.uk/

Plus this year if possible i would like to print off the messages and send them out to Afghanistan, possibly via the addresses Liz has on her thread?

Any thoughts or suggestions gratefully received :))

I would like to send my good wishes for Christmas and the new year to all our military in war zones. I hope their Christmas will be as peaceful as possible and that they will soon return safely to their loved ones.
I would like to add that I think they do a fantastic job under difficult circumstances and they have my utmost admiration and thanks.

In addition can I add my good wishes to all military personnel at home as well as they live with the knowledge that their turn will come, or the memories of what they have seen.

And please feel free to use my board name

Ann in Glos.

I would like to wish military and uk based civilians, serving in war zones, a peaceful and uneventful Christmas. Also, a safe return to your loved ones and friends in the New Year.

God Bless you all, and your families, and my heartfelt thanks for the difficult task you are facing on my behalf.

Like Ann... the same goes to all serving forces, wherever you might be based.

With much love (and sorry, I always send out hugs!!) loads of (((((((((hugs)))))))

ps... Rose... have you thought of contacting BFBS radio? They have request songs played for the troops locally.... they were a link with home for us when we were overseas. xxxxx

And as a further incentive ( though I am sure one is not needed ) for every legitimate board member that posts I will make a donation to Help for Heroes of 50p per name . That based on last year and year before should be somewhere between £13 to £30 :)
